Story Reading is suitable for children older than 12 months but younger than 3 years. If you would like to receive more information please email the bookshop. 
Upcoming Story Reading Topics:Friday 10 February, 2012 at 10:30 We will be reading and singing from our various story reading books. Some of the books that we use are noisy, lift the flap and classic books. We singing a few songs read and then sing again. The shop is closed at this time of the day and we can therefore make lots of noise. Come along and join in its fun for all. |
Each Friday morning at 10:30 am is the ever-popular "story time" at the
bookshop. Each child gets a finger puppet to wear during story time. This
indicates to the children that story time has started. We sing songs, (such
as "Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star") read books from our magic chest and draw
pictures together.
Story Reading lasts for about 30 minutes after which the children have
some time to play and the parents enjoy a cup of freshly ground coffee, cappuccino or café latte.
