Storytime
Each Friday morning at 10:30 am is the ever-popular "story time" at the bookshop. Each child gets a finger puppet to wear during story time. This indicates to the children that story time has started. We sing songs, (such as "Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star") read books from our magic chest and draw pictures together. Story Reading lasts for about 30 minutes after which the children have some time to play and the parents enjoy a cup of freshly ground coffee, cappuccino or café latte. Only bookshop food and milk for the children is allowed downstairs (crumbs). Story Reading is suitable for children older than 12 months. |

The Playgroup
The playgroup is a really great place for parents and children to meet each other however the group has become really popular. I will be asking people to reserve their space at the shop and your space will be given away at 11:15am. The shop sells Cappuccino, Cafe Latte and various kinds of Teas. Only bookshop food and milk for the babies is allowed in the shop, no other food (to many crumbs). If you decide not to join the group please email me and I will remove your reservation. Please indicate if you wish to be removed from this mailing list. |
