The bookshop offers customers a wonderful 1870's mahogony table at which to sit and enjoy a cup of freshly ground coffee, cappuccino, café latte or tea whilst reading their book. The bookshop works in conjunction with local caterers – "Dikke Lepel" – who supply the shop with freshly baked scones, (served with jam and cream) and a delicious range of cupcakes. Our scones and cupcakes are also available for take-away. If you wish to reserve the table for book group meetings, or other occasions please email the shop.

The English Bookshop is also particularly proud to also offer the highest possible quality Rooibos tea, Biedouw Valley Rooibos. The tea is grown by the owner's cousin 400km North of Cape Town in the famous Biedouw Valley in the Cedar Mountains in South Africa. The tea is grown and harvested at over 1000 meters altitude, hand-picked and fermented overnight under the African stars. Only the best cuts end up in your cup. Try a free sample at the bookshop soon.
